My art background began back when I was living in New York.  I started `preserved flower` arrangement classes in New York City.  I thought this business was a great idea since preserved flowers last for an extended time (stays fresh over 10 years) and do not require watering.  Also, they were not available in the US at that time. It was a great opportunity for something new! However, I could not continue the business after I realized what I was doing to the flowers.

`Preserved flowers` are made to maintain their fresh look for an extended period of time by extracting their moisture and adding chemical preservatives and color when the flowers (mainly roses) are at their freshest state. At first, I thought it was a great idea since they are so beautiful and look real. But the more I handled the flowers the more I questioned myself. “Isn`t it my selfishness and ego that I am creating these flowers?  I am removing the most important water from the flowers and adding preservatives.  Just because I enjoy watching the flowers does not mean I can do anything to them.” “They exist just like human beings.” I started to think about how selfish I was not thinking about how flowers felt.  If this was a human, this would be a big problem! From this time on I could not continue and I ended the classes.

Still, I must have really enjoyed something related with art as a few years later, when my sister started drawing, this looked interesting, and I also started to draw.  I used watercolors and Japanese natural mineral pigments.  Sometimes Japanese color brushes and color pens.  I remember my early drawings were like a child’s art.

The process of my drawing starts with selecting a theme.  I feel better and motivated when I have a theme. Sometimes it pops into  my head.  Then I select my art supplies with intuition, and I decide the timing when to draw. I try not to think of the after effect of how I want the art to look.  I draw without thinking and let hands move freely. My art is created on the paper as a result of my hand’s movement.

I discovered that there was also a new experience when I placed drinks on my art, that the taste has changed. The most obvious change was with red wine.  I tried coffee, juice, Calpis water (I think this is a Japanese soft drink), and they became very watery. Sometimes the sweetness and sourness disappeared, and they became like water.  I remember I used to get a little drunk since I placed red wine often. (lol)

At one time, since my mother was suffering from unstable blood pressure, I drew an art called ' normalization of blood pressure'. My mother placed the art on her chest and felt her blood pressure stabilizing.  I was very surprised. There must be some vibrations emitting form the art that affected my mother’s body.  From then I tried drawing `Normalization of ……` art.  They seem to somehow react on the body.

On the contrary, I also once experienced negative vibration that came from my art that made me nauseous and resulted in difficulty in breathing. I don`t remember the theme but It was a very interesting and important experience.

We cannot see the vibrations, but they do exist.  Art emits vibrations as do all other existing beings.  The beautiful paintings are beautiful, but they reflect the artist`s vibration how they are created. If the artist draws with ego and negative energy, it influences the person as well as the surrounding environment.  On the contrary, art can act as positive energy and support to revive the environment

Mechanism of nature involves all the existence that are born voluntarily or created through man`s hand influences our ecosystem in our space-time (*2). I realized through my art experiences as Ikuro Adachi, director of IFUE and his sister Sachiko Adachi (*1) say, “True Art is True Science!” ガッテン!

I tried to summarize very briefly my art experiences, but it is very difficult to put into words. I apologize for not be able to write in better English. Thank you very much for reading.
